This soccer exercise can be played in different formations with different roles and combinations. Two teams of 8-10 players and 1-2 goalkeepers are involved in this soccer tactical game. Sticks or mannequins are placed as shown to mark defenders' positions and draw passing channels. One playing field is marked out by cones as shown. In this field a 5v3 tactical game is played with two central defenders and three midfielders.

Description and Graphics

This soccer drill can be played with or without full backs. A 5v3 game is played in the field. The defenders try to close deep passing opportunities. The team in possession try to play the attackers by deep passes between the defenders. After these passes are performed three midfielders turn and step into the play to combine with the attackers randomly between the sticks. When the soccer drill is played with full backs, one of them steps into play in turns.
